Strong side/weak side outside linebackers

Here is a little trick, not sure if it will work in the game.

In real life, the hashmark positioning usually dictates the strength of the offensive formation. So of the ball is on the left hash, the offense will usually put the strength to the right.

If any of you use the coach's playcall on offense, you'll notice that they often flip randomly on their own. This is usually to put the formation strength to the field side.

Assuming the CPU also does this as well on offense, you can probably flip the defensive strength to the field side as well.

The only problem with this is that you have to use the package subs which are extremely limited. But if the ball is on the right hash (offense's view), you could to OLB flip to get the LOLB on the right (strong side). Hopefully the CPU will also line up with strength to the field.

This is important in Nickel situations if you're playing zone. The game doesn't flip the nickel CB unless he is man. So of the offense lines up with slot right, and you call a nickel zone, the slot CB will not line up over the slot WR (now it's obvious you're playing zone).
