recruiting question: Team you play against

I looked around, but couldn't find an answer to my question.
When you bring a kid in for a visit, does it matter how prestigious the team you are playing against that week matter?
For example, will it bump my visit grade from a B+ to perhaps an A if I play a team like Bama instead of Western Kentucky? Also, would it matter if I brought him in when I was hosting a rival?
I recruit on AA and have made it a habit to recruit before I play that week's game and I always make sure to select the highest pitches during a visit.
I've played seasons with Miami and Tennessee but it seems like the majority of visit grades have been B+....I enjoy the challenge though, just wondering
Thx

In terms of the order you should invite recruits to visit I believe it goes:

1. Rival
2. Ranked
3. Conference
4. "Normal"
5. Bye

That's how I schedule anyways and I get no less than A visits.

I bring in the recruit for the next available home game no matter the opponent...i don't want competitors to get a head start on the recruit if i can help it.....Like u, i select the highest pitches according to the kid's interests....Fortunately in year 1 of my Colorado dynasty all my home games were against good teams....I've had visit grades ranging from A+ to C- even tho sometimes the recruit will still commit with a C- grade

I thought that conference games were better than ranked non-conference games, but I could be mistaken.

Re: recruiting question: Team you play against

I've searched as well and as a piggy back on this question:

say I'm Texas and recruiting a QB as his top school and his #2 school is OU, does bringing him in for a visit during TX/OU weekend as my recruit do anything extra outside of the "Rivalry" match-up?

I'm wondering because I did that specifically in my online dynasty for 5 recruits that OU and I are his top 2 schools, some I'm #1 and some I'm #2. hoping it would also act as a negative recruiting tool against OU... but the week won't advance for a couple more days as everyone gets their games in.

Im pretty sure it doesn't. I think the fact that the OU/Texas is a rivalry is the big key. Because I have seen a LOT of recruits who commit to a school even when the team loses the game on the visit. I know for a fact in NCAA 11 the result of the game mattered, but I just had 5 recruits on my board commit to Miami when they lost 34-14 against FSU.
