Florida does play Alabama in the SEC championship, who is 13th in the BCS standings. I like to think I would jump them with a win over Miami but you never know.

For me personally, any non PAC-12, SEC (duh), or Big XII (sometimes) team has to back in to the championship game...very aggravating.

Before I lost to FSU, I was ranked number 1 in all 3 polls. Not sure how that happened but a lot of the good teams have one and two losses.

Well, I beat Miami 27-20 in the ACC Championship game and will play TAMU in the national championship. Here is how the final BCS rankings played out. TAMU beat Oklahoma in the Big 12 title game and Florida lost their SEC championship game.

1 TAMU 12-1
2 ECU 12-1 0.994
3. Miami 21-2 0.988
4. OU 10-2 0.975
5 NC State 10-2 0.973
6 Idaho (surprise of the season) 12-0 0.969 will play in Fiesta Bowl against Miami

Rankings before Championship week:

1 Miami 12-0 points 1
2 Oklahoma 10-1 points 0.994
3 TAMU 11-1 points 0.988
4. UF 10-2 0.98
5 ECU 11-1 0.98

Yes, it was. I still think I would have jumped Florida had they won their SEC champ game though since they had two losses, but I'm glad they didn't win and make it interesting.

Re: Will I make the Championship game with a victory in the ACC championship?

Something very similar happened in year one of my dynasty.

FSU was ranked #4 with their lone loss coming against me going into the ACC championship against GT who was ranked around 8th or so. Of the 3 teams ahead of them two had to play in conference games. The other team was TCU. I think it was something like this:
1. Oregon
2. TX A&M
3. TCU
4. FSU

In the end FSU ended up beating TCU for the championship.
EJ Manuel won the Heisman and I think FSU actually had two losses on the year. Fun year.
