Thinking About Doing Something New For Next Year

I think I'm gonna take it back to the 90's before the internet explosion and read nothing about the game other than when it comes out. Then when I get the game read nothing about it at all until like 2-3 months later. I want to feel about this game the way I felt back in the day...whether it happens or not remains to be seen. As of now that's the plan.

That's an excellent plan.

To quote a famous hip-hop song from that era "Can It All Be So Simple". Find out when the game comes out...get a named roster and then play it to death like the good ole days.

A better plan would be, not read anything until 2 months after the game comes out, then make an informed decision on whether or not you want to buy it. By then there should be multiple patches and a ton of information at your disposal.

From July until Madden's release there is a ton of talk, good and bad about NCAA. We are all better off waiting until after Labor Day to get the game. Wait for the patch, wait for the hype to die down, and wait for the storm to settle. When I first bought my PS3 I didn't get NCAA 09 until the end of August, and I still ended up playing it more than the versions that followed it. Negativity can make you more cautious.

Na I'm definitely gonna get it no doubt when it comes out. Its my all-time fav game. My whole thing is back then before we were able to get all this info, we just played the game. That's what I want to do...just play and enjoy the game. Im on the back end of my video game playing days now...about to get married and have my own family. So my free time will be less from here on out. I just want to simply enjoy the game.

I wish I could do so, but sadly, I'm addicted to the carnage. The car wreck analogy is trite, but so apropos nonetheless. Its horrible and I wish it never happened, but I can't look away.

I probably put 100 plus people on ignore during late June to late September every year, but I still come back to see what kind of over the top rhetoric, intellectually dishonest arguments, and completely specious analogies, people will come up with to justify their own lack of discipline toward a company who they quite often feel has burned them for the last several years.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
