Who lets the coach call the plays?

Who uses the coaches suggestions as their playcalling choice? I was just curious to see who does use that method.

i do a lot for the simple fact that i don't want to always scan through the playbook so i look at the coach suggestions and decide from there. I don't use it all the time but i use it for suggestions and if i see something i like i pick it otherwise i do it myself. Problem is the coach options usually repeat the same plays a lot.

I use ask coach exclusively. Yes, a lot of the plays get recycled often, but I'll flip it, and go into a no-huddle which brings up that formations playbook just for some variety.

I choose the middle play every time.

Sometimes. If I'm an OC or DC I'll use it until my prestige becomes at least a B.

I never used to use it and made fun of people who did...until this year. I decided to give it a shot thinking it would be a quick way to learn the playbook and deviate from running only a select number of plays. I enjoy using it now. I'll scroll through all the suggestions and pick one that I like.

I know this is an old thread, but using "Ask Coach" seems to limit what plays are used in my playbook. I am running a Martz style offense, using EMU as my base, but the only shotgun formations that pop up are from the Split Off-set form. My playbook includes like 4 or 5 shotgun formations, but this is the only form coach wants to recommend, I don't understand.

Any suggestions?

I also use it, but usually scroll through all the pages quick like until I find something to use.
