Why is the field in-game smaller in ratio to the players than it is in real life? Is it an overlooked error by EA, or could it possibly lead to making the passing game too easy because of all the extra space?

I finally noticed this during the Baylor/TCU game. I think they said it's somethin they will look to fix next gen

Leaping linebacks and the secondary covering a lot more of the field then they'd be able to do in real life?

its a video game, seriously? the game sucks yes but if everyone has all these answers why is nobody tryin to get jobs/careers at EA

moreover if yall know these are the issues why buy the game every year. you can always rent the game or something else instead and make the sales go down and hurt them where it matters, in the pockets

Just a guess here, but I would imagine they are aware of it, and it probably is deliberate. Correcting it would mean either making the field bigger (and then people wouldn't be happy that they can't see the full field) or making the players smaller (and folks without the huge TV's probably won't be happy about that). Just a guess though.

Can we fix the ball size too? It's bigger than players heads and looks absolutely ridiculous at times
