2011 last night

Played an online ranked game in 2011 last night and had one heck of a good time!

No blown up options at the line, no LB 12 foot verticle picks, no FB or TEs spinning on a dime and blocking backwards, no passes sailing 10 yds overhead, and guess what ... the no huddle worked great, too!

Exactly. If you go back five years, you're still gonna see posts about how horrible the option is, super LBs, etc.

Really? Well that's good news I suppose because I didn't get into NCAA until late September last year.

I became one of the best runners in the game (no lie, I'm good) and the power/load option was a staple of my O game plan and I can't stand how bad it is this year in '12. I really do hope the option and the blocking assignments get straightened out. I love shutting my pass heavy opponents down with my ball control run game.

Were the run issues last year (this time of the year) really as bad as they are today in '12?

the run blocking in ncaa football 11 to me was alot better because you can actually see the olineman push and engage with the defensive player more dramatically then this year. This year they just stand in front of the defensive player, do absolutely nothing and just back away. Big WOW!!!

the spin moves and stick moves were better in ncaa football 11 also. This year the player just spins in one spot like chubby checker doing the twist.
