Re: Simmed two seasons - observations

QB comp % are off for sure. Far too low, with far too many with low % at the end of the year. Its tied to awareness. If you were to raise the awareness of all the qb's you would see more accurate % at the end of the year.

Re: Simmed two seasons - observations

So I simmed a few seasons using default rosters and found:

In year 1:

(1) 11 quarterback has over 3,200 yards passing.
(2) 25 quarterbacks have over 3,000 yards passing.

In year 2:

(1) Five quarterback with over 3,200 yards passing
(2) Nine quarterbacks with over 3,000 yards

Didn't look at year 3.

In year 4:

(1) Only one quarterback has over 3,200 yards passing.
(2) Three quarterbacks have over 3,000 yards passing.

In year 5:

(1) Two quarterback has over 3,200 yards passing.
(2) Five quarterbacks have over 3,000 yards passing.

The first year stats look great with a 4,000 yard passers and even occasionally a 5,000 yard passer. Then there is an immediate drop in the number of yards. And yes, there are several quarterbacks still rated in the upper 90's in years 4 and 5 and I have no idea why they are throwing for less and less yardage. And I've seen this on every single dynasty that goes longer than a season or two. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just unlucky/going crazy?

I forgot to look at the number of attempts.

You do realize that 88 speed is a 4.46 in the game right? I'd call that a speed back

Fair enough. I'm more annoyed that after just a few seasons no one is throwing for over 3200 yards.

Re: Simmed two seasons - observations

I have noticed that other qb's stats (also other positions but especially the qb) vary with whatever your qb's stats look like. For example, in one of my dynasty's i played with Clemson and with Tahj Boyd, I only threw for about 2400 yards, and at the end of the season there were VERY few 3000+ plus yard passers. On the other hand, I played with Maryland and threw for 3900 yards with Danny O'brien, and there were multiple 4000+ yard passers and many more 3000+ yards passers.
