The Option pass

I don't seem to be able to make this play work, even if I have guys open downfield it seems I just can't get the ball out fast enough...anyone got tips?

Haven't been able to get it to work the past two year at least. Part of the reason I don't play with option teams much.

They don't work all that well... Because after you push A your Qb goes into a slow animation and you get sacked alot of times

What does work well is use a fast Qb and just run it on the option pass plays since the defense plays the ball different even though they don't know its a pass...

Try it run the normal option a few times and then run the option pass out of the same formation, And watch how much different the D plays the ball. Even though it should look like the same play but the CPU knows the play
