Redshirting players in EA NCAA Football

When you redshirt a player and go to the depth chart it fills it. Does anyone know how to keep it from doing that?

Redshirt players will appear on the bottom list (where you choose your replacements), but they won't appear under the list of starters and backups (the top list).

Could you say that a different way? Are you saying...

You're setting your depth chart as the last step in the offseason... then you're going to preseason options, redshirting players... and you're not wanting it to set your depth chart there?

If that's the case.... No, I don't have a clue how to stop it. The easy solution, which has been money for me for two years now, is just skip the last step in the offeason, do the preseason options, THEN set the depth chart in the roster menu.
