Coaching Carousel Question

Ok. So I'm an offensive coordinator at Washington. I started at Middle Tennessee State and have been an OC for five seasons. My coach is 25 years old.

In each season I've led the nation in total offense, points per game, touchdown passes... you name it.

At Washington, I've won the national title three straight seasons and over the five years I've coached three Heisman winners and had a finalist each season.

My contract with them is up, and I'm looking at getting a head coaching job. However, the options are pretty lame as of right now.

Arizona State (5-7, two-star) - 1 year deal
Purdue (7-6, two-star) - 2 year deal
Rutgers (2-10) - 3 year deal

Those are the ones I'm even considering.

I also have the option of OCing at Ohio State on a 3-year contract or re-upping with Washington with a 2-year contract.

Between the two I'm considering Purdue as HC or Washington as OC.

Now, here's the big question: Will my offers get better if I'm a head coach for two years at Purdue or am I better off staying an offensive coordinator at Washington for two years and hoping something better comes along? The thing about staying at Washington is that by now I'm sure it's become a six-star school with the threepeat.

Let me know what you think.

I have found that no matter how good you are as an OC you will always only get a mediocre at best HC job... The longer you HC the better opportunities you get. That is one thing I would love to see get fixed next year. Maybe give the no experience OC the HC position at a big school and see if he can pass the extremely high standards set forth

Re: Coaching Carousel Question

Wait....is there a way to look at all the job offers at once? I've been just going through the carousel and I have to decline a job before I can see if there is another job opening.
