I'm posting this to make sure I keep my OD on track and don't break anything. I want to keep up with the current conference realignment changes for year 2 of my OD, then in year 3 and on make realignment changes that I think will occur. Have any of you with ODs done this and do you have any tips for me? I have heard to keep each conference with an even number of teams. More help would be good. I have the found below site with the most current real to life realignment changes:

Can anyone with experience in making changes to conferences give me some input and advice before I make any changes in my OD. I am currently done with year 1 and in the offseason. I want to use the current real life changes for year 2 of my dynasty and then for year 3 and on make conference changes based upon what I think will happen. I don't want to cause any issues for my OD users and I want to keep everything running smoothly.

Careful... some of these schools are for basketball only.

True, thank you for posting that. I'll need to find a better link with football only changes. Have you modified conferences in a dynasty yet and what should I or shouldn't I do?

Try, if at all possible, to keep at least 7 in a conference. Once it dips below 8 teams, the game will replace that conference member with a division 1AA on the schedule. So if you have a 5 team conference, each of those teams will play 3 1AA schools a year.

ACC - Add Pitt and Syracuse
Big East - Add Boise St, Air Force, UCF, Houston, SMU, Temple, Navy, ECU
Big 12 - Add TCU & WVU
MWC - Add Nevada, Hawaii, Fresno St

East: Wyoming, Colorado St, Tulsa, New Mexico, UTEP, Utah St
West: Hawaii, San Diego St, Fresno St, Nevada, UNLV, San Jose St
