Actually the Heisman isn't an MVP, instead it's awarded to "the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity."

Thus I give you RG3.

But if you want to use the MVP debate, I can argue the same thing for Robert Griffin III. How good would Baylor be without Griffin? I'd hate to find out. We also play a lot tougher opponents in the Big XII compared to Houston in CUSA.

Check out the Sagarian strength of schedule ratings for Baylor vs. Houston.

Baylor's schedule comes in as the 6th most difficult in the nation. Houston's schedule comes in at 111th!

Are you honestly going to give the trophy to someone who had to play that easy of a schedule? I sure wouldn't.

RG3 also has a better passer rating than Keenum, not to mention just under 600 more yards rushing.

If your curious to know what other Heisman candidates and their teams strength of schedule are, take a look.

Andrew Luck and Stanford? 35
Montee Ball and Wisconsin? 64
Matt Barkley and USC? 19
Trent Richardson and Bama? 23

I rest my case. Keenum doesn't deserve the Heisman. RG3 does.

Now as for the video game. I'm in year 3 of a SJSU dynasty and Tate Forcier is the leading Heisman vote getter through 3 games. He wasn't on the ballot last year, nor was he on the ballot at the beginning of the year. How someone from the WAC is #1 overall in the vote, I don't understand. I doubt I'll lose this season because my schedule is so easy. It almost assures he'll win it.

I've actually considered throwing a game just because it seems so messed up.

I disagree with the unrealistic stats won't get u the heisman.. I had a rb that had over 2800 yards and over 30 tds (all rushing no receiving) in his jr year on #1 ranked UGA.. Won it by a landslide.. in his sr season he has over 3100 rushing yards and broke the single season td record and won it again

Re: Why bother with Heisman trophy?

I won the Heisman with Pitt HB Jeremiah Bryson (currently a true freshman) in the 5th year of my dynasty when he was a Sr (RS). 294 carries for 1637 yards, 5.5 ypc, and 25 TDs (school record). He had only a few receptions for 1 TD and no return stats. My Pitt team also went 14-0 (in a 12 team Big East) and won the NC.

Yea in my legend I was the QB at Duke.. I threw for over 3,000 yards, rushed for over 1,000.. Had around 30 passing TD and like 15 rushing TD and led the race all year.. Then lost to a QB who didn't have 1 statistic better than me.. And my last game was even better than his, I threw 4 TD
