Question about progression

In dynasty mode, what determines a player's progression in the off season? Is it his stats from the previous season? His teams prestige? His coaches prestige? Is there a hidden attribute for potential?

I know that coach prestige has an effect on player progression. I also think that your record from the previous year is key. I don't think stats make a big difference. Win and build your coach prestige then you'll see your players make big progression gains.

But coach prestige does not change in online dynasty with contracts turned off. You always have a D prestige no matter how good you play.

Then it depends on program prestige. 6 star programs progress faster than 1 star.

It is program prestige. I noticed when examining time savers that the description for "max player training" said your players will progress like a six star program
