Re: Age of Gamers

31 years young, been playing them since Bill Walsh football.

Got a full time job in the Air National Guard, have wife and 3 kids and when it gets quiet, it's game time.

Like some others said, never understood, why some people make fun of those who play video games at our age? What should we be out, drinking, doing drugs, chasing women and cheating on our wives?

33 and I game more now than I did when I was a teen. Well maybe about the same. I honestly would rather throw a game on than going out or doing whatever.

Re: Age of Gamers

Sorry for a second response, but to me, THIS(video Gaming) is my sports viewing. I could care less whats happening in real life (in sports world).
I've gone for years without watching a real baseball game or NBA game IRL. They're too slow, boring.
But I'm right here at my TV watching my Madden Franchise every night. I can't tell you who won the Super Bowl IRL, but the Jets beat the Saints in MY universe in an exciting come from behind victory.
So for me, it's not a question of video gaming as much a question of having interaction with my sports universe. I don't see how age would alter that.

BTW, by the time you're our age, you'll be playing games on a holodeck like in Star Trek. Wish I was there.
