Outstanding first outing for Junior UCLA RB John Franklin. He rushed for 283 yards on 21 carries and finished with 3 TD's. Coach Neuheisel has been taking some heat from the press for not pulling his star RB late in the game when he came up limping with Turf Toe. Early outlook is he will be doubtful next week when Baylor visits. Could be very costly for the Bruins.

UCLA, having only 2 Tackles on scholarship for 2012, have filled one of their important recruiting needs landing 3 star 6'6 291 Lb. Jason Nolen out of Spring Valley, CA this week. An important pickup for Neuheisel and his Bruins.

Good luck in your match against Baylor in Week 2. It will be a hard fought match as he absolutely trounched Central Michigan in Week 1. And congrats on pulling your 1st recruit.

My game against Central Michigan couldn't of gone any better. My defense was spectacular. RG3 is the real deal. My special teams does need a bit of practice with. The press sent out a pre release saying that we just got a 3 star recruit whch I will update his name and where he is from later. He is a DT I believe. We also got a WR as well so far so good and my position needs aren't much so I'm trying to fill in the gaps for future years early. Looking forward to Week 2 vs UCLA. Hoping for an undefeated or 1 loss season like the school paper predicted.
