Problem with "beat a rival" ... Any help?

I think the confusion resulted from your involuntary omission that this goal said FAILED after you successfully beat a rival team in your first year. If that is the case, it sounds like a bug. I'd be interested to know whether or not it goes from FAILED to PASSED at the end of your contract

I think you're right, but I hadn't finished the season yet to know whether the "0" I was seeing was going to result in a failed grade. I'm in my 2nd contract & during my first contract, the rivals goal updated every time I beat a rival. Not saying it said I "Passed", it just updated that a 1 or 2 or 3 victories over rivals had occurred that year. In other words, just like when a goal is "win 8 games every year" & you win your first game, it says "1", then your second win it says "2" ... & so on. The rivals goal just wasn't updating & it failed me.

If I can get a victory against a rival each year, I'll let you know the result. Shouldn't be hard considering Kentucky & Vandy are rivals.

It just seems similar to the "Solid Playing Time" & starting a player but not getting credit for the promise. Before I noticed the Rivals situation, I had promised a few kids we'd have a winning record against rivals. I'm afraid if it doesn't recognize the wins, I won't get credit for my promises as well.

wow that does sound bugged, I'd like to know if it remains bugged when you finish your contract.

I haven't had that problem with an offline or online dynasty... strange.
