Anyone ever produced an All-American OL?

I have played a couple of years with a few teams. Have recruited stellar offensive lineman. I use one of the OSers silders. They are pretty good. But Never have i produced and All American Offensive lineman. Even if they are a 5* recruit....Anybody have any tips on how I can do this???

I think OL are the lost aspect of this game. That an Special Teams. You cant even play as one in RTG (even though no one on here uses that). But any tips or anything I would truly appreciate.

I've have had AA O-lineman before, but that was only because I was controlling them using lead-blocker to get "pancakes". The whole stat tracking system for lineman needs changed in my opinion.

GT and primary running teams get all the OL AAs. I get pre-season AAs on the line a lot because the guy might be in his senior year, 3 year starter, and have a high rating. At the end of the season, they are gone because I dont have the pancakes.

Amazing that the O-line stats have never been fixed.

Re: Anyone ever produced an All-American OL?

I have had an All-American OL before in my Nebraska dynasty. It was a season where I ran at least 55-60 times per game to only a handful of passes (including a 3 game stretch where I completed zero passes). I had an All-Conference, All-American guard that year.

I get the feeling that team rushing stats have a big impact on offensive line All-American voting because as others have said, pancakes do not really register for OL. I think my leading blocker in terms of pancakes that year was a WR. That's the only time and it took an exaggerated rushing offense to do it.
