The reason the ball is so big is because the player models were too big. They fixed the player models to be the right proportion to the field, but the ball stayed the same size. If they made the player models bigger then people will complain the field is too small, which is a much harder to fix.

I agree. I said this sometime last year and was told not to worry about it because hardly anyone notices it. But I can clearly tell they are not to scale.

Pretty sure ur right.. You would think getting the dimensions right would be a pretty obvious starting point when designing the game....

Yeah no kidding. But if they ever do fix it it'll be on the back of the box as a new feature.

That's why I like 2k so much. They include all the little things without even mentioning them to their fans because they work as hard as they can to add things for everyone.


Example. In the NCAA games. There is one. One. Stance and throwing motion for a qb. And he doesn't even hold the ball. It floats in his hands.

In all pro football 2k8 every qb throws different. They qb holds the ball. And get this *depending on the type of throw the qb is going to make, he has different throwing motions for it.*

And they never said a word abt it.

ea is really good at making their game look good in pictures. i know the actual game never comes close to looking like that.

I don't think it looks good in the pictures either. The player models look weird. Nothing looks right. Qbs don't hold the ball like that.
