You're not the only one. However this was a "probably buy", up until I watched the Dynasty Playbook a couple days ago and realized there just isn't enough innovation there for me.

I have not purchased this game, even used, since '09, IIRC, may have been '10.

I try the game every single year and give it a fair shake... but these hype videos just don't do it for me. I know better. I can appreciate the job their marketing does... but I don't buy a game to think about the trailer they put out 2 months ago.

Considering NCAA was my favorite game way back in '04, I just can't help shake the feeling they do not know how to flesh out presentation and features. That's not a knock, just my opinion when I see what they put out compared to other games in other genres.

When the game wow's me however... I will happily make the purchase.

I was in your Madden league back then.

And I'm not one of the "This game sucks, I'm never buying it again" guys. I am playing 12 right now. I really love it. Which was why I thought of not buying another one. With custom conferences, I could keep up with teams swapping conferences, and would just have a game to pound out my football fix on forever.

I guess it's more that I hadn't read anything about 13, then accidentally popped onto an article, then found out that EA had released a bunch of Dynasty info that day, then I watched a trailer, and then I saw I could only get it for 45 bucks.
