Re: New Teams in NCAA 13

Apologies for being so late to this topic, but this is a bit of information regarding UMass playing at Gilette and whether or not Gilette would be used in game (this part is just my own speculation).
Since UMass' home field does not meet NCAA D1-A requirements for seating, all their home games this season (and possibly next, depending on the timeline of the UMass stadium expansion) will be played at Gilette. Now for my own speculation, I'd have to imagine that Gilette Stadium would be in the game, considering that every other team who shares a pro stadium has that stadium fully rendered. Pittsburgh, San Diego State, Temple, Tulane all have their NFL stadiums in the game, I can't imagine EA wouldn't be able to transfer over the model of Gilette from Madden to NCAA fairly easily. Maybe that's the hint that there would only be 2 "new" stadiums in the game, since Gilettle is not "new" for them at all.

Old Dominion is a no as well, as although they are in talks with C-USA, they would not begin football play that season in C-USA; same with Charlotte. I guess ODU could be an independent though.
Yes, I am a Liberty fan. But, Liberty WILL move up, most likely in 3-7 years. Falwell announced that he was all for it and would try his hardest. Liberty is a top FCS sports program and they have all the tools to move up.

EDIT: Also worth mentioning, Liberty has been making numerous improvements to prep for the FBS such as renovating their stadium as well as renovating their baseball stadium.
