the one promising thing was in the USC video, when showing warmups, Barkley's season stats were displayed. Im almost positive that they didn't show this last year during warmups. please correct me if wrong.

It's sad that the PLAYERS have to think of these things and make extremely detailed reports, comparisons, and what have you instead of EA's "professional" concept team doing a good job...but with that being said this was good stuff man. nice!!

I just wish they could bring back the player profile box during the game.
EX: a defensive player makes a key tackle on third and short. They show an animation of him either jogging to the sidelines, or celebrating with teamates. While he does this a box comes up with his name, HT, WT, Class, and Hometown. You know, like you see on TV. I think they used to do this, and it gives the game and the players a more personal feel.

They focus too much on the impact guys and thats it.

Back on topic: This is great. I had a breakdown of how I thought overlays could be implemented but I don't think I've ever posted it up anywhere. When I find that piece of paper I was scribbling on I'll post it.

Sorry for the year-old bump but wanted to make sure DorianDonP got a lot of credit for this...

As I mentioned on TGT, a lot of this was starting to show up in the builds we were playing in March. I don't know specifics as to how it looks/works in NCAA14 but I know that in playing in March, a lot of what he shows in his real-life examples were starting to show up in the game.It was still very much a work in progress (very little was in the build we played) but you could get the feel that this is what they were targeting.

Hopefully we see more about that in the coming weeks.

First time I have even seen this thread and just wanted to say great job DorianDonP. Also appreciate the fact that an EAGC, thanks as well to Gschwendt, took the time to pass it on and get it noticed by the devs. Good community team work all around, hope we can continue to get wayyyy more of it.
