I know Ohio Has a large german background. Not sure about other places. I know Wisconsin has a huge Dutch heritage.

Ohio state has a German Village just off campus. Hand made Bratwurst are Freaking awesome!

I would just create a TB team from a big college IN Germany and say it's a USA campus. Put it in a high-German immigrant region. I think that'd be pretty cool.
