That was proven to be wrong, ESPN owns the rights to every ACC sporting events, which they sell to RSNs. There are no tier 3 rights, as if that's important in the first place- there are only a handful of schools that could start a sports network, and FSU/Clemson are not among them.

The FSU prez had I believe 4 pros and 7 cons for moving to th ebig 12. Apart from the cons having a numerical advantage, I'm pretty sure Texas' stranglehold on the conference will scare away anyone considering to move to that conference. Why do you think Colorado, A&M and Missouri left? Its all about money. Simply put, the Longhorns make an enormous amount of money that nobody else can compare to, even Oklahoma.
