Another big announcement for NCAA 13?

Has there ever been another college football option? Exclusivity has nothing to do with NCAA football because I don't think there has ever been a competitor or anyone interested in making a college football game.

There was a time back in the mid to early 90s when there were a few options. Bill Wash, College Football National Championship, and another one...NCAA something. Also, 2k made a college football game back in 2002 that was not very good. However, I don't think we'll ever see another competing college football game.

Yes, there has been other college football options. I played them. I remember liking Gamebreaker over NCAA around 2000.

2k had a college game prior to 2003. But it wasnt good.

I think their exclusivity is close to being up or already up. But, I dont think any company is willing/has the desire to make a College Football(even college) game. 2k doesnt have the license for the CHoops game. College can sell well like NCAA Football has, but it isnt a household name/game like Madden is

I'm not even sure the NCAA license is exclusive at all. If I remember correctly, it's only "exclusive" because nobody else wants to make it.

I believe this is right. Seems nobody is willing to make a college football game without a NFL counterpart. Sucks.

Having another option is always great. But, yeah it seems like a company either both or not interested.

Yup I used to play Gamebreaker more than EA's NCAA on PS1. Don't know why, but it appealed to me as a youngster.
