Never Has EA Needed Signature Styles More Than They Do Now

Ok. NCAA Football took a step.. A step they better be ready to live with. They put REAL players in the game, and these virtual representations of heisman winners MUST actually represent the player! Barry Sanders should have his Signature Running style, signature juke move, signature spin, stiff arm, hurdle, etc. Same with QB's and their throwing mechanics, as well as WR and their catching. If not, there is no point in putting them in the game. I could've done that myself in create a player.

Plus, having these animations in the game could open them up for players use them when they create a player in RTG or dynasty. I'm tired of seeing every player looking the same in motion.

Herschel Walker needs to be able to run right through people. All the time.

Totally agree with this and the op. Too many players look and feel exactly the same. Player movement overall needs an overhaul.

Re: Never Has EA Needed Signature Styles More Than They Do Now

I can't fault EA for not being able to rate every single player properly. They are college kids and chances are EA doesn't have the same data in these players that might have in Madden.

That is why i've been a big fan of simply just hoping they would release a GLOBAL EDITOR that allows us to edit ratings globaly and also set our own tendencies/style of play

Heck they could even get rid of the ratings all together aslong as we have the option to select what style of play we'd like to see our players be on the field.

I think APF 2K8 does a great job of this during gameplay.

Since this is a college game with technically generic players i think new system to assign playing tendencies shouls be created and it doesn't have to be represented by a numbering system.

Like for example any QB in the game with 80+ speed is automatically listed as Scrambler. That shouldn't be the case because a guy can have 80+ speed and still be a pocket QB.

EA's rating system kinda screws up the AI code and that is why tendencies always seem to fail in this series.

Give us the Option like Madden to assign our own style of play for each player.
