why does ncaa 13 ps3 have such bad graphics

Look how sharp and detailed the grass is. Now here is a video (HD) from the PS3 demo build. Just watch from 0:40 - 0:50. You can see how blurry and pixelated the grass is. 360 users indulge yourself by watching a bit more and compare it to the 360 build.

You do know right that the grass only looks like that on the 360 is because of the replay? If you're actually playing a game the grass looks exactly on the 360 of the video you just posted.

Ok sir, now take a screenshot in replay mode on PS3 and I bet your bottom dollar that it is the same

I did say it was crude comparison. One is of course a fixed image taken during a manual replay. The vid however is still a replay but in real time. Either way, when you compare 360 demo vids to that ps3 vid I linked to the difference is quite noticeable.

Perhaps I'm used to gaming on my PC lately, but the demo looks and runs terrible on the 360 as well. No AA (obviously) and awful frame rate that routinely dips below 30fps into slideshow territory. Ugh.

Haha, I just recently built my gaming PC so I know what you mean, PS3 and Xbox are so far behind PC now.

My points about the PS3 are that the grass isn't rendered at all in the replays. As I have said MANY times in this thread and others, the game at the line of scrimmage and during actual gameplay looks fine outside of a few issues obviously present because its a demo build.

But whereas the 360 version has fully rendered 3D grass and everything else is polished, the PS3 version does not. The PS3 version's grass isn't rendered at all and the game itself has numerous frame rate problems, lag, slowdown and graphics glitches (like the QB lining up off center).
