Touchdown Celebrations

Something that bothered me in 12 was the lack of celebrations. The lack of user controlled celebrations was disappointing, especially when it came to the interactions with mascots.

What I found funny is that there's a loading screen in 12 that says to run to the mascot to perform a celebration, but once you cross the plane, the game takes over.

11 had it right. You could celebrate with the mascot, running into teammates or solo.

Think they bring it back for 13 or will it be much of the same? I know the demo was like 12 but could that be because its a demo?

Excessive celebrating, or whatever the NCAA calls it, is obviously against the rules because it makes the game more exciting haha j/k
But seriously, the NCAA and the NFL both frown on players celebrating after scoring points or making big plays so no more fun touchdown celebrations in either NCAA or the Madden series.

I think this is why we don't see that in the game anymore.

On idea would be to add in sideline reactions (not like the ones after the extra point).

It's a rule but why can't you do it the game anyway and get a penalty?

A rule doesn't mean it never happens lol

Good point. They could keep the option in and you celebrate at your own risk.

Playing the demo I've had my RB's and WR's run up the sideline and then try to run out before getting hit and get hit a yard or so out of bounds anyway....there would be a flag on that.

the running to the mascot thing was stupid especially if you didn't actually run to the mascot then you were just running around for 10 seconds. I don't mind the cpu controlling the celebrations just make sure they are realistic celebrations, not just school specific every time, not a jumping side bump everytime, there should be variety.
