I believe I'm going to dive right on in with this purchase right now. I had totally forgotten about the Season Ticket thing.

Thanks OP for bringing it to my attention again.
I can skip staying up and waiting for midnight release, this is full of benefits for me!

So i buy Season Ticket, DL the game Friday, then go purchase the retail disc?

I just got it. ON PS3 to ensure you have the service go to... account settings and arrow down to services to make sure its in your list of active services. Its almost instantanous with your purchase.

I forget...at what point on Monday July 9th, does the game shut off? Is it during the morning hours or that evening?

I believe it's 6am on release day. The idea is to ensure that everyone gets at least a full 72 hours with the game, regardless of download times, etc. That's why they added 6 hours on each end of the period by releasing at 6pm on the Friday and letting it run until 6am on the Tuesday.

Id like to know that as well because my Internet is average at best and takes forever to download stuff
