The record for most TEAM sacks in a season? (I can't find it in the official NCAA record book) TIA!

Found this...Texas A&M 1991 - 56 sacks

Pittsburgh gave up 64 sacks last year.

The second-highest was Miami (OH) at 47. Pitt was so bad last year and Tino Sunseri was a sack-machine. Remember how he got sacked three or four times in the final minute or so against WVU last year?
