The field is to small

Maybe we had mini people in the last gen if there is a difference because this gen looks to have players at about 6 feet.

Unless players are magically growing, the picture I posted on the first page taken from the videos shows they are right around 6 feet. Speed may be off, but player size is not.

I used to think this as well but I was more concerned with width rather than length. However, after looking at videos and pictures I think it's more so that the "bunch" type formations and slot receivers are just too far in. Doesn't look right when a DE is straight on with a slot receiver is bunch formation.

There is something off, but I'm not entirely sure what it is either. The players are the proper size relative to the length of the field, but there is something weird. Part of it is some animations cause players to juke/dive/jump a distance farther than they should be able to given the size of the player and field. I mean you look at the dive animation in the game and players cover a huge distance in the air. Strafe and jump with a guy down field and he gets a TON of elevation that just isn't off (the super linebacker problem was like this too).

I'm guessing what you're seeing is that the players play bigger than they are. It makes the field seem smaller just because less of the field is available to you because of the amount of distance guys can cover. I have absolutely zero photographic or video proof of this theory, it just feels like guys play bigger than they should.

Spacing is another huge issue, but more based on player alignment in their formations than anything else.

I'm fairly certain the field is a lot more narrow in relation to the players than it should be. The one guy was right, play a last gen NCAA title and the field seems so much wider.

I think the field needs to be more wider.
