I'm trying to be totally honest. I've sat here and thought about the question and I can't think of anything that I would say they 'nail'. The passing in the demo was excellent and fun as hell. But I'd need to play it some more before I could feel comfortable saying they nailed it.

I'd say NCAA is serviceable in a variety of areas when it comes to gameplay. Wouldn't say they nail any one aspect.

Exactly, we have to stop giving passes. We all feel the same way and we all want the samething but sadly were not getting that.

Recruiting. Every year I get scared that EA will make some crazy new recruiting system completely different from the old one, thankfully this year it seems all the tweaks are for the better. Recruiting is what sets this game above Madden, every year, Infinity be damned. There is nothing quite like signing the #1 player in the county in your OD with 5 other users fighting over him.

Touchdowns are worth 6 points.

I can't think of one. I'd say passing, but the god awful play design of 75% of every playbook throws a lot of that out the window. I personally never had trouble throwing last year. I love that it's smoother, I love the new catch animations, I love the auto-drop and I love the new pass trajectories but until plays and playbooks get attention, passing is still dull as dirt.

This game is universally lacking pretty much everywhere on the field. That's not to say it doesn't have strong points off the field (I LOVE recruiting) and that isn't to say I don't enjoy the game on the field, it is just lacking. I think the source of most of my enjoyment for this game comes in OD's, being able to recruit my guys and take the field with them against 6-8 users per year and just play man on man. I love that, it jacks me up. But if there was no OD mode, I'd have stopped playing NCAA years ago.

im not gonna say passing because the throwing motions of the quarterback are atrocious..i mean sometimes they look fluent but most of the time they throw like they have duck arms ...they look like they are pushing the ball to the receiver rather than using a nice smooth throwing motion...

to the point i would say the catching animations look nice this year but long overdue...so im not gonna hype em too much
