Why does the game look horrible on my ps3!?!?

I am not impressed with the graphics at all.

But what really is annoying is when you click on replay and the graphics look like complete crap. You have to zoom in 10x to see anything clear.

I feel the same way as I can see tons of jaggies (PS3). The grass looks as if it is a water colored art piece during replays. During the normal gameplay camera view, the grass looks splotchy under certain daytime lighting occasions (midday mostly). I have this year's 2nd best Samsung LED.......

Will forcing 1080 really degrade the picture quality?

Yes it will because the game is made at 720p so if you force it then it will suffer and force it to show you less resolution then default 720p even if you force it to 1080p

dont bang your head trying to make it better. it is not your fault or the tv's fault. It is how the game is made on the ps3

Even on the 360 this game has way to much of a saturated color spectrum. I have to lower my tv color setting because the color pallet is beyond strong.



Remember the days we were able to zoom into the back of the helmet to view details. Now if you try to zoom in to the player he just dissapears

I've compared both versions and there is a huge difference in the PS3 version and not in a good way. The first thing I noticed was how much worse the grass looks, the lighting doesnt look nearly as good, and the background buildings also look clearer on the Xbox. I bought the PS3 version and am hugely disappointed. I'll be selling it and getting it for the Xbox. It has nothing to do with what TV you have or the settings, EA just didnt put out the same game for both systems.

The PS3 version looks like an older build. Let's hope they'll fix it.
