Sway Pitch not working right..

If you successfully sway a pitch, it goes up and not down. Since I'm a 1* school, it's important that I sway pitches and bring down their standards. But it's going from high > very high, above average > high, etc... (most of my pitches are Ds)

It's not a big deal, just wondering if its happening to anybody else...

That's how it was designed to work. It was the same way past year too.

That's how it's suppose to work. You get more points after swayed pitches and their interest goes up even if your letter grade for those pitches are terrible

I'm confused..

I skipped 12, but I'm pretty sure that when you swayed pitches in 11 that they didn't always go up. The purpose of "swaying" a pitch is for small schools to make recruits think that better is not always best. Vice Versa, bigger schools making recruits see that it may be beneficial if they cared a little bit more about things they gave little thought to.

But if that's the way its been...I guess. It doesn't make sense with the new gems/busts imo

I understand that part, but I think it makes more sense if it went down. Like, here me out...

This guy is "above average" on playing time. I'm an A+, the other school is C-. I should be able to make him care "high"ly about playing time. So, now that pitch should get me more points since he values it more. This should also hurt the other school because now he cares about playing time and their depth chart isn't looking as promising.

Assuming there are more than 2 schools trying to get this one guy, swaying pitches should change how he views all teams. Kinda like a "sway at your own risk", because it feels like I'm swaying him right to the other team by making him care more about things that I can't provide...

I swore in either NCAA11 or 12 if you were a low ranked school you had the option to downplay pitches.

I agree with you and it used to be that way on previous versions .

Ok, Kool! Well thanks for helping me clear that up (no more swaying for me), but I thought I'd just put it out there to see if I was missing something.
