The shovel pass if more along the lines of something Favre used to do when in trouble, haven't seen any plays designed for it. Have yet to see the jump pass. Don't understand why they put it in the game anyway. Only player to ever do it consistently was Tebow the HB/QB.

I was able to do a shovel pass, I wanted to pass it to my HB which was 5 feet away and the QB did a shovel pass. I guess there is no shovel pass plays it is something you do if you are close to a receiver.

i did it once. i started to scramble to avoid a sack and my HB was close so i threw to him and got the shovel pass
