FCS teams

Hey guys I am just wondering whats everyone's opinions on the generic FCS teams in the game. Do you schedule them for an easy win or do you just avoid them because it is too easy?

I have avoided them like the plague ever since NCAA 08. I had 1 game where I played the whole first quarter on Heisman without getting tackled. If EA is going to only use generic FCS teams they should at least make them not play like a bunch of 5 year olds.

Re: FCS teams

If I start out at a small school, I usually schedule one a season. But with larger schools, I don't.

I was playing with Western Kentucky in NCAA12 and played a FCS team and I started to get worried. I had to win it in 2 OTs. haha Yes, Western Kentucky was that bad.

I left two on schedule for first year of UTSA, first two weeks of season. Let me figure out my team and playbook. Other than that, I only add one for my first game any time I get a new job, for the same reason.

Re: FCS teams

Just substitute them with a Teambuilder school like Grambling or something. Or remove them altogether off the schedule. If I'm playing as a 1 Star prestige school I may leave one on for a warm-up season game... stat game and then that's it. Because it hurts ranks in the end.

Re: FCS teams

I never play "The Generics". It bugs me to see them on the schedule. My non-conference schedule usually consists of one or two games against ranked opponents, depending on if I get three or four non-conference games; and always two conference champs from the mid-major and weaker conferences.

Re: FCS teams

How hard is it to put the top 25 FCS teams in the game? They use to be in the game a while back.
