Cpu aggressive zone defense

I play coach mode and watch some cpu vs cpu games.whenever I check the cpu defence adjustment on zone coverage its on aggressive, I think this is leading to poor safety play(getting burned deep) has anyone else noticed this and are their any solutions to problem

Yeah. I have tried switching it but everytime I go back to CPU control it switches back. This could be the root of a lot of the coverage problems

This is a really good find, and may be worthy of putting in the bugs glitches thread. I haven't been able to check it out yet.

I was doing some testing last night and trying to figure out why coach mode plays so differently than cpu vs. cpu.

I set it up so I was basically coaching both teams. I was calling plays for both, yet I didn't see a lot of the deep wide open receivers during that game.

In cpu vs. cpu you will see some of the worst pass coverage you've ever seen. Receivers will occasionally just run right past a db.

Maybe this is the reason.

This is exactly what is happening. When you start throwing short passes and completing them, the CPU switches to aggressive zone in order to stop the short passes. Then you can burn them on 4 verts.

I haven't been able to test this out for sure because I'm at work. If this is the case and we can't find a workaround, this needs to go in the bugs and glitches thread. It needs to be shouted from the rooftops, actually. This is a gamekiller for me.
