Here is what I was referring to with the wear-n-tear system from HC09 and it seems bananas that an even more fleshed out version of this is not in NCAA/Madden by now.

I would like to see more injuries. My HB gets injured maybe 1 out of 4 games but he is usually only out a quarter ot two.

In your dynasty you can quickly shut them off for the dynasty by going to Dynasty House Rules and switching it to off. On the main screen under Settings to turn them off as your default profile setting, go to House Rules and under Gameplay Options, it's there along with difficulty and quarter length, etc.

It's really easy to say "everyone wants realism until it's inconvenient" and stuff like that. Which is some what true but here's a example of why this should be fixed.

I'm running the Meyer Spread attack at Oregon State, I have 4 QB's on the roster, 1 pocket passer, 3 scramblers. 1st Quarter my starting RB goes down for the game and towards the end of the quarter my star QB goes down on a option play for the game. Okay, I can deal.

Second quarter, my back up QB goes down on a sack. OK.

Third quarter my third string QB gets injured on a Read Option...hrmm.

Fourth quarter I resigned to an Air Raid style attack because I didn't want to start putting WR's and RB's at QB. It's annoying how much ball carrier's get injured almost every game. This isn't a isolated thing either, I restarted the game to see if it'd happen again and sure enough I ended up using 3-4 QBs every game I played. Guess I'm turning injuries off :\

That's what I did and I just started a new dynasty. Interestingly enough it seems to have had a huge positive effect on the upset problem as well. Upsets happen at a more realistic rate, but the important note is that they still happen! Which makes me happy. WKU beat K-State by 3 and I was elated. Where my friend is playing a dynasty with injuries on and he has to type multiple texts to tell me one week's worth of upsets. For instance, Purdue beating Michigan @ The Big House by 28 is ridiculous. Purdue barely beating them there, makes MORE sense and is unlikely. But it could happen. Purdue winning by 35 would happen if a bunch of players were injured. Trouble is, injuries happen at such a terrible rate that it has HUGE consequences. I saw a guy in a thread who said his season 1 dynasty had Colorado State and Utah in the NC. Insanity.
