Do you create yourself in your Dynasty?

Just thought this might be kind of a fun topic.

When you start a Dynasty do you create yourself in the game? If so, what position do you usually create yourself? Or do you create you and friends and place them on teams or in the recruiting classes?

I usually make me at CB. Sometimes I'll make some buddies and see what schools they get recruited by and commit to.

I do not create myself or friends. If I did, I'd be tempted to cheese my way to ridiculous stats with the players.

I create myself and a few of my other buddies. I tend to put us all around 70-72 overall so it gives us room to grow during our college career. I'm usually a WR (since that's what I played in high school), and my other buddies are a QB and a DE. Right now in my first year of Dynasty I'm the OC of UMass and was trying to recruit all three of us (one buddies from Michigan, other from Arizona, and I'm from FL...so we're pretty spread out lol) and so far the QB went committed to Michigan while the DE went to Iowa (interesting since he'll be playing my other buddy over the 4 years) while I'm still #1 for UMass but with North Carolina sneaking up on me.

Usually what I'll do for the guys I didn't get I'll schedule a game or two against that team over the next two years to at least see them in action.

I've created my football alter-ego in my dynasty (my report in my sig). I can't stand EA's sense of RTG, so I just put a different spin on it. I love the Player Lock camera, and I hope Madden brings it back for when that day comes.

I created myself as a 40 overall CB, I'm hoping to get some time because I made a 1* teambuilder team that is 50 overall and chalked full of seniors.

That's a different approach, I've never heard of anyone doing that. What team did you create? What conference? and What's your record?

not really in dynasty, but my teambuilder EKU team had a extra QB, so instead of leaving him as just a number, I made myself
