once again.... hold the button down WELL before you are in position... slow down... strafe and you WILL user pick/user catch if you are in position. it's actually A LOT easier because you don't have to time it.

LOL that is not even close to user picking, the cpu would have done that anyway trust me. And btw if that was true that would be the worst thing I ever heard; no more skill in user picking? It would basically be switch to your defender and try and remember what button you should hold down and you'll get a user. No more timing or getting in position or skill at all. Maybe if it was on rookie that kind of setup would be acceptable.

I used to be a picking machine in past versions. Imagine my surprise when 13 hit and I couldnt do the same sometimes super human plays. I could literally shut down 1/4 of the the defensive backfield myself. I actually like not being able to do that any more. I have to be in perfect position for a pick.

My biggest problem is how when playing against another user. If my opponent decides to user catch it totally destroys my DB A.I. Instead of attacking the ball my DB would sit there while the user controlled WR jumped to catch the ball at the highest point.

360 here & I have no issues with user catching offense w/wr or defense LB/S

The key is not to run then out of their assignment
& not hold onto speed burst

Its all about that left stick too much = no catch
Realistic
Left stick aka run b4 catch / take eyes off (or madden gitch catch) = no catch

And on defense they can run w/hands up & swat button is nice players will go all out some time to tip pass

This game is wonderful jus put in lab time/game time

I have no problems user catching, accept that sometimes they jump up and let the ball hit them in the stomach.

It seems like the typical jump button has been disabled this year for the most part. But, correct me if I am wrong, it does seem like only if your player is looking at the ball - only then you are able to jump?
