An excessive amount of upsets in dynasty mode. Anyone else notice this?

I was literally thinking this exact thing last night. I played through about 6 weeks of my offline UTSA dynasty and every week, top ten teams were getting beat by teams way outside the top 50.

Arkansas State beat Oregon 34 to 28 just last night when I started my Washington State dynasty.

I have noticed in the past this also was a problem. I can handle upsets here and there, but it's been a little out of control. Hopefully something can be done to fix it.

All of the games for the current week are simmed when you advance from the previous week. They are not actually "playing out" while you're playing your game.

Not seeing the issue here

Personally, I like the wackiness of dynasty. I like seeing smaller schools rise to prominence. I remember in one of the old games (04 or 05 I think)I had Arkansas State vs. Fresno State and Colorado State vs. Texas Tech for national titles along with Michigan, Florida, Florida State, and Miami becoming 1 star schools.

Of course, I root for a small school, so that may be why I enjoy that so much.

As far as how many upsets there are this year, I'm not sure that there are really that many more than there used to be. I think having the ticker during games maybe just makes them more noticeable. Something to think about anyway.

It always seems like it to me because the studio updates have a tendency to look at upsets, but when I actually sit down and look at the Top 25, theres almost never more than two or three teams who have lost to teams outside the top 25.
