Why is it close to impossible to intercept passes!?

Why is it so hard to pick balls off even when your guy is looking at the ball and is in perfect position. . . I smash Y and still nothing happens. . . tell me please help help help lol.

Y is messed up this year. Use RB to swat, they'll pick it off sometimes.

honestly for me some games it seems like my Db's can't make a play but then there are other games where they are grabbing everything outta the air. Like the poster above said if you aren't getting the picks and your getting beat than just go for the swat. Also you can go into adjustments and switch it to go for the pick or swat idk maybe that will help you out?

This has been an issue for a lot of people on both sides of the ball. Personally, I havent had an issue user defending passes as much as I've had with them actually making the interception which is much MUCH less than the CPU does.

Yes, the lack of being able to user defend passes makes the game almost unplayable!!! EA be glad I am a college football fanatic!!!

What game are you playing, they pick the ball off way more this year than in previous versions, especailly the cpu.
