It's a terrible thing that we are amazed by a blocked punt in a college football game.

I remember those bad snaps. That was the last time I saw any kind of blocks on punts as well. I have some of the old games, might try to find which one it was.

Also, I remember a friend of mine having good luck bringing a man down just to the right of the center on PATs. If he timed it right, he would leap through the line just after the snap and block the XP. I think that was on 2010.
