anybody have success with punt returns yet?

Use De'Anthony Thomas. Dude's a cheat code in the return game. Using Oregon vs friends or the CPU to reverse a bad sim I have not failed to return a punt or kick for a touchdown.

I've returned one punt and no kick returns so far in around 30-40 games.

I always call a return left/right to the short side of the field. Gotta let your blocks get set up. So much better this year than it has been. I actually feel like I accomplish something when I return one.

I'm really liking the return game this year, it seems to be the most realistic in years. So far I've only taken to the house, but I'm getting a good mix of fair catches, short/no gains, and 10-15 yard returns.

I've been killing it on punt returners. What I do is return middle and take the far left lb in a three point stance (I think the LOLB #1) and drop him 5 yards before the snap to play the fake without messing up my return. At the snap when I see that it's a punt I run him back with the three guys creating the wedge for the ball carrier. A lot of times I only hit it for a few yards but I've been able to get outside or cutback through the middle for six several times.

This is a no brainer, but speed helps a ton. Here are my 3 punt returners in my 1st 3 years. Hayes and Smith are low 90s speed. Peoples has 97 speed and every time he returns a punt I feel like he is gonna break it for a TD.

Didn't have any my first year of my dynasty.

But in my 2nd year I've had two of them. One was calling Punt Block Return and the other was just PR Middle. Both were pretty much the same. Caught the ball, Ran straight for a bit and my blockers sealed one of the edges and I just out ran everyone down the sideline that was sealed all the way to the end zone.
