You might be right, but that's an indictment of the product they've put out since 2006 rather than praise.

IMO 11 was the best of the series gameplay wise. You can polish whatever you want but when you break the passing game with psychic defenders, and 20 foot jumping LBs there will be a problem.

If NCAA 06 was in HD, I'd never put the game away. FCS schools, Dynasty was amazing, solid gameplay, real interaction, STADIUM PULSE, and star players change mid seasons.

A great game overall.

I think it all depends on how you look at it. From a fun, working with what we have perspective, this game has been excellent. As many have said, easily the best since last gen. If you look at it from potential and what other developers have done with the other sports games, then it is a failure.

Good post, Ben. Although we like different teams (Mets, FSU), we definitely think alike when it comes to these games we play.

I'm very happy with NCAA 13 thus far. I think I managed my expectations well, and that certainly helped with my current enjoyment. Those that want a complete overhaul every year will be constantly disappointed.

It's another compartmentalized NCAA release with loads of shortcomings in just about every facet of the game. We should be saying it's the best NCAA game, every year. I mean, how else does one justify buying the same game every year for the better part of a decade?

Away from that... I disagree. I'd still rather play NCAA 06. I just wish the emulation was better on Xbox 360. I don't really like to keep the OG Xbox set up. Limited space on my entertainment stand.
