Game speed

Can somebody explain "game speed" settings to me? At first I thought it was like "fast play" mode in MLB the show and would skip replays between plays. Obviously that is wrong.

Also, how can I skip all the replays! I find myself mashing down on X all game to avoid watching a replay of every little 5 yard play I make.

Thanks

The game speed simply adjusts how fast the players move overall. The faster the setting the faster EVERYONE runs.

And as far as I know, you can only skip replays by pressing X or A. (Depending on your system). You can pause and un pause of course each time as well. But why would you want to skip all the replays anyway? They add some good presentation value to the game, and it definitely needs better presentation.
