[PS3] Has No Huddle Been Fixed Online?

I played only 2 games online so far and lost both games because of no huddles. Both games were close and I was leading withing the final minutes my opponents had no timeouts remaining in both games.

My main complaint is: Shouldn't the clock continue ticking once the ball is placed regardless if it's a first down or the offense isn't set? It seems that the game is programmed so that the offense has to be lined up before the clock runs. Is this patchable?

Well, in real life, the clock starts onces the chains are set...but in the game there is no chain gang to speak of...of you think about it, after a long pass the chain gang would take a lot longer to jog downfield than college athletes would, so it's kind of expected that, especially in a 2 minutes drill, the players would be set far ahead of the ref winding the clock.

I mean, in the game the ball is immediately set because they havent programmed refs placing the ball down and having a chain gang. If the clock started when the ball was set (again, happens immediate) then it would essentially be NFL rules in a college video game. At the end of the day, waitin for the team to be completely lined up is more in spirit with the college rule of stopping the clock on first down.
