And the point of the no huddle isn't to snap the ball with only 1-2 seconds running off the clock, it's to prevent the defense from subbing out players, which still happens. Before the patch a no huddle offense would be able to line up and snap far too quickly, causing multiple offsides...that was very unrealistic.
Yeah, the animations that are in now are goofy, especially in home games...but watch a real "hurry up" offense and they snap the ball at best a good 10 seconds after the ball is set.
The only time it's a problem is when spiking, which I've had it both work where I got the snap off with only 1 second gone and with the animation costing me 7-8 seconds.
