Just a game with my team builder school and I came across this.

It happens a lot this year due to the recievers running out of bounds and then coming back into play in order to make a catch

I've seen it once in NCAA 13. The penalty has been in the game for years though. It's just a relatively uncommon penalty to be called.

Actually it hasn't. It used to be in the game years ago, for some reason it was taken out which allowed WR's to run out of bounds on longer plays and come back in uncovered to make a deep catch. Finally they put it back in.

However this is the one of a few threads i've seen about this penalty and I'm surprised by how many people don't know what illegal touching is.

I first saw it after the latest patch or tuner update. Since then I have seen it twice in about 4 or 5 games.

Prior to that I had not seen it called, ever.

I don't understand why they can include this penalty, but I'm yet to see a tackle out-of-bounds penalty.
