The first quote backs Romney entirely... wasting the labors of the country on the pretense of taking care of them. Taxing the people who work hard, earn their money, invest it, and build their financial base to pay for welfare programs and universal healthcare. I'm all for helping people who cannot work either physically or mentally, but people who will not work should not rely on the people who do to get by.

Really?...the working poor who are working 60 hours a week are not working hard, or "earning" their money? They are the ones who are on/need welfare. They are not rich because the government is taking all of their money?

The Thomas Jefferson quote was him talking about the a small part of the American population...whites with property. What's sad is that in the year 2012, we still have people working their tails off, and still have no money to invest and build their financial base.
